Dr Gabriel Petraru is an experienced Implant Dentist with over 20 years in dentistry and a strong background in restorative dentistry. He graduated with his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in Romania in 2003 and completed a Master’s degree in Restorative Dentistry in 2008. He subsequently established his own dental practice in Romania before relocating to the UK in 2009.

Building on his longstanding interest in restorative dentistry, Gabriel undertook further training in implant dentistry and has since successfully placed hundreds of dental implants. He takes great pride in the difference his work can make to patients’ lives, restoring missing teeth, function and confidence.

At Faith Dental, Gabriel accepts referrals from dentists as well as self-referrals from patients who would like to explore dental implants as an option for replacing missing teeth.

His strong background in restorative dentistry complements his implant work, allowing him to consider not only the placement of an implant, but also the final restoration and how it will function and integrate with the patient’s overall smile.

Gabriel is known for his kind, gentle and encouraging manner. He takes time to listen, explain treatment options clearly and provide personalised care to help patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their treatment journey.

Outside dentistry, Gabriel enjoys spending time with his family, taking long walks and travelling. He also has a keen interest in fast cars and is multilingual - he speaks English, Romanian, French and German.
